What is the Helping Hands program?

Helping Hands is a highly flexible learning tool and can be used in two ways. Activities can be run by our in-house facilitators or you can choose to self-facilitate.  Whichever you choose, we will set you up for success.

Our Facilitated Programs

When you commit one of our facilitated programs, you are engaging a professional facilitator who is familiar with what it takes to deliver a world-class event (big or small, virtual or face-to-face).

The facilitator will hold a meeting with you to discover your learning objectives for the session and create a specific activity plan to give you 100% confidence.

Our expert facilitators have experience with hundreds of programs and can support with the logistics you need for a successful event. Even if you have remote teams, the Helping Hands program still works well by including team members virtually with key roles.

Self-facilitated Programs

Designed for teams looking to try a ‘do it yourself’ approach to the activity, the self-facilitation kits are a cost effective alternative to our facilitated program.

We provide all the materials required to ensure that you are set-up for success! Your self-facilitation kit will include the following:
  • All materials required to assemble your Helping Hands kits
  • A protective case for the hand, with markers to decorate with
  • Assembly manual and help desk tools
  • Facilitation manual and resources (including slides, videos, and training video)

Accreditation

The purpose of our Helping Hands Accreditation Program is to equip all attendees with the knowledge and skills required to facilitate the activity like a professional.

When you choose the self-facilitation option we already provide you with everything you need to run the activity. Our accreditation program provides more depth, expert knowledge and the opportunity to ask questions and practice, so you can facilitate with confidence.

Our materials and lesson plan provides your classroom with an opportunity to build and donate a life-changing water system and provides teachers with a range of information and stimulating activities that can be used to educate kids about the global problem of clean water and sanitation.

The materials include a detailed teaching workbook, student learning and education about water and sanitation as well as guided activities and discussions for students.
